Ray:  JB’s funeral was last Thursday, I am sorry it took me so long to write this.
The funeral service was a brilliant family affair and it was wonderful to see how much he was loved.
It revealed a lot about JB and his various passions and his whole life demeanour which was wonderful.
There were many ARC people at the service and that was very heartening for the family and frankly to me and the rest of the ASSC/Pirates.
If you have any snippets on JB, they can even be nice, please put them here… I heard a few from those that attended the service. They made me smile.
Vale JB. missed.
Ray…

Dom: Agree – it was wonderful to see many ARCers at the service and later at the wake.
JB was a special person and a special mate and will be sorely missed.
I recall doing the Kinglake ride together some years ago and as the ride commenced, we were drenched but he wanted to completed the ride regardless. He made the right decision because it ended in sunlight.
He would often come past and drop off baguettes that he made and never came over empty handed, always with pastries which we enjoyed over coffee.
There were many special moments on the ASSC rides with his generation of unique words.
Vale JB
