Hi to all the enthusiastic climbers out there!
In a cunning plan devised over beer + grub last night, Bradley + I are planning to ride my inaugural ‘Cat ‘O Nine Tails’ route in the Dandenongs tomorrow.
Refer to Strava Route https://www.strava.com/routes/3084392980930722790Leaving by car from GI at 7am (I can take my 3 bike rack if other want a lift), or meeting at Bayswater Park at 7:30am, I/we plan to tap out a few climbs in them thar hills. Finishing time, coffee stops etc will be demand driven along the way.
Not sure how the day will pan out, or if we will get even 1/2 way through, but tension and excitement is mounting as we have 7 or so weeks till we fly out to Italy.
We’ll be looking out for others in the hills, and we may cross paths with Guv’s ride.
All welcome for some, all, or none of the above!

cheers, BradThanks James for a great day out. Two new dotted lines on the map going up Mast and Hughes Rd plus the other 7 hills. Inverness id starting to look pretty easy!
Have found I can no longer climb stairs so will be sleeping on the floor downstairs tonight – with luck I will wake up for Bond Rd.
Now on to part two of the Italy prep training – pizza and beer…..
