Hi Everyone,
As mentioned on our recent 2022 ARC Alpine Challenge, and elsewhere on the forum, it is time for me to hand over the organising of the event to a fresh face, and some fresh ideas.
It’s been a pleasure to be involved in bringing both joy and pain, often at the same time!, to the group for over 10 years. Lots of happy memories.
Robyn’s wonderful photo book capturing the history of the event is testament to the camaraderie, joint sense of achievement, and celebration experienced every year.
I’ll certainly do what I can to ease the transition to the new organiser, and pass on all the thinking about how and why the event has evolved to it’s current format.
I intend to ramp up my riding to participate in next year’s event, and can act as a consultant if desired.
I’ve made a tentative booking at The Blue Duck Inn for Saturday 11th Feb 2023, but this will need to be confirmed by the new organiser.

After 10 years, you too could have a photo book produced in your honour.
