Hi everyone, the weather is warming up and it is looking like it will be a promising summer for cycling.

There is no limit on how many can ride over the weekend, 29 is purely the accommodation limit at Anglers Rest. There is a great campground just across the creek.
On average we would have half a dozen who reassess their diary, suffer injury, or fail the fitness test closer the date and pull out, so feel free to add your interest in joining the ride.
And of course as the weather warms up it is probably time to start thinking about ramping up your weekly kilometres. Keep an eye out for some of the upcoming preparation rides to Lake Mountain and Donna Buang.Cheers, Brad.

I might be the first one to blink.
Probably a bit excited and ambitious when Alpine Challenge spots first became available.
Time constraints have prevented consistent riding recently, and I can’t see that changing too much between now and Feb, so Jude and I reluctantly withdraw.
We intend to come up and do some Bright based cycling over the same weekend, so please include us in any Fri/Sun socialising numbers.

Still a couple of places left before the wait list opens up.
Spring is now well and truly underway with some larger group rides now taking place. A good
chance to start building bit of a foundation before the usual excesses of Christmas take their toll
(is it time to put the tree up yet?).There is no limit to the number who can go, there is plenty of camping close by
and usually the list will change over the next few months as work commitments etc
