ModeratorYes Wayne. Slipped on a roll-over kerb 50m from home, just misjudged the angle of approach needed. The bike slipped out from under me, and I crashed onto my elbow, at about 2kmh. Several fractures, a dislocated bone, and a piece of bone poking through the skin. At least no head injury this time! Tennis is looking like a safer option!

ModeratorSorry to hear about your injury Nathan; hope you make a full recovery.
But that does free up room for one single at our place near Wandilligong if anyone’s still looking for accommodation on the Friday.

ModeratorHi Wayne.
I have a mate Craig who is keen to join us for the weekend.
Just wondering if that’s ok if a spot is available.
Thanks Matt.2019-01-11 at 2:44 pm #49616Wayne Russell
ModeratorSorry Matt, this slipped through to the keeper!
Yes, we have one spot free with some recent withdrawals, so Craig is very welcome, and now we are full again.
Cheers

ModeratorHi All,
This is The 4 Week Warning, and I hope the training is going well.
I will soon be sending a cabin list to The Blue Duck Inn to assist with our arrival so please let me know if there is anyone you particularly want (don’t want) to share cabins.
To assist with bag/sag wagon planning, is anyone likely to be driving or sharing the ride as a drive/ride weekend. ie. any one bringing a vehicle to Anglers Rest?
At one week to go I will check with our proposed rest stops to ensure they are open and expecting us, and confirm the start times.
Not too late to chase a 7 Peaks passport if planning to collect the stamps.
We are full at the moment with the following start list– Wayne & Jude
– Kate & Adrian
– Justin
– GarryD
– Shaun Mc

KeymasterIt is with great regret that I have to withdraw.
I have not had enough time to train as I have had trouble with my knees, keeping me off the bike a lot longer than I planned. I kept living in hope, as its such a great weekend, but reality has struck- I won’t be fit enough.I hope everybody has a great time ( and misses me!)

ModeratorNo worries Shaun,
The list for next should be open a couple of weeks after this year’s event.
“You’ll be missed”
Cheers
