145km with a bunch of closed roads(GOR) – what’s not to like about closed roads!
Timing is good for Italy prep. (weekend after Beechworth).
0730 start Torquay.@RichardH – yes will be a good hit out.
Upon further investigation the road closures are not on Great Ocean but do include the Dean’s Marsh side – still good to have these closed and in theory the will be a lot of riders on GOR.
Hi Rusty, I have already booked accommodation and this will be my 5th Otway Classic. I am debating whether to do the 204km or the 145km as per last years ride. I can get my hands on a house that sleeps 6-8 with 4 bedrooms, (one of them has a double and single bunk, and 2 lounge rooms which can sleep more. It has an in ground heated spa, pool table, and mini putting green in Torquay. Let me know if you or anyone else is interested as I will need to lock it in. I currently have 2 other mates who are staying and the have locked in an awesome rate for the house.
