Announcing 12,000 km on chain 1 and 3,000 km on chain 2 on my Felt.
I went to two chains because I fully wax less often; indeed I ride two bikes and the other bike has waxed chain 3, which I re-wax from 300-400km. So after about 1,000 km of riding I re-wax.
The real Winner here is the cassette…it was NOT new when I started waxing and now has over 15,000 km, (I think I remember it being about only 600 km on oil).
The cassette is looking good and I expect 30,000km may not be out of bounds.
My LBS keep telling the chain looks good the cassette is new and the chainring looks good (it has 15,000 km on wax and 10,000 km Oil).
Saving money on chains, cassettes and chainrings.
