NZ John has a proposition for us all. Film night out, on Sunday 26 August 2018 at 6.30pm. Would make a good night out for interested ARC members, with possibly dumplings in China town at say 5.00ish

We’re on a mission- sharing the best cycling short films from around the world with you!
Showcasing a line-up that has everything a cycling-centric audience could want- action, drama, humour and plenty of inspiration; the evening is going to be utterly Bike-alicious!
These short films are a great reminder of why we love to ride our bike; SO…listen to the voice inside you; it’s telling you to go. Grab your mates, grab your tickets, GO ON… grab your bike and come along for the ride!!
We’re going to spin some wheels and ring some bells with our treasure chest of stories including… a journey across the harsh desert landscapes of Oman mountain bike touring, a New Zealand road cyclist who believes in the power of bicycles, an attempt to beat the record for the longest continuous bike ride in a single country (Canada) on a single speed fixed-gear bicycle, the remarkable story of an American Cellist who challenges the notion of limitations by travelling over 6,000 kilometres by cargo bicycle, BMX riders with a passion to see the youth of today succeed, and double trouble with twin uni-cyclists strutting their stuff ALL in the mix. These short films are a great reminder of why we love to ride our bike; with stories that captivate us, stories that make us think and most importantly of all- stories that inspire us to get on a bike.

Ok NZ John, im interested. What happens from here …. are you taking the lead with booking tickets??
Hi Justin.
Don’t know how or why, I but Sandy liked the short and we are going.
Maybe try the same for Mary… Or a dinner.
Max
Well, yes Justin. Apologies all round as it seems that demand outstrips supply. So my delay has meant that it is Max and Sandy who seem to have their tickets and we are left high and dry. Sorry pal.
Np John. As it turns out we have a clash this evening.
Hope it is enjoyable for Sandy and Max.
Justin.
